Across the Universe

I didn’t go to a student recital tonight (or last night, for that matter). Instead, Hubby rented Across the Universe and we just finished watching it. I was ambivalent about seeing this film, but now I’m really glad I did. It was charming, uplifting, validating, and vindicating. It confirmed many things that I already knew, that all you really need is love, and cops are pigs.
