Uncle Don�s visit was quite a success. He came with his bass, an older, mediocre instrument that was all right, but he had been hankering after a new bass for quite a while. He and Hubby headed out to the music department to borrow the bass amp, but found that it was in use--the jazz ensemble was rehearsing--so they got back in the car and drove to ArchambauIt, where Don had been earlier in the day looking at their wares. He ended up buying himself a brand new bass, a G0din made in Quebec at La Patrie, with a lovely dark stain on the natural wood, and a very fine sound. When they finally came home there was a jam session of vast proportions, which can be viewed here. I like to refer to them as �The Three Guitarzans�.
