Elgan speaks
...and her words thunder across the land

Leveled leves levy lives.

I saw the Duchess tonight at the wind quintet concert. I hadnt seen her since last fall, and only spoke to her a couple of times on the phone. She is all finished her radiation treatments and is feeling well, shes been weight training and doing aerobic exercise, and is thin and fit and was bragging about her brand new biceps. Shes back in circulation, which means that I will call her soon so we can get together. I really missed her.

The concert was not so great. The ensemble had tuning problems which sort of makes five wind instruments sound like braying donkeys, something I was a little surprised at because this group doesnt usually have those difficulties. What the hey. The reception afterwards was nice. The students in charge are outdoing themselves with the spreads. Thats special.

I had lunch today with Little Princess BF, whose parents are back from New Orleans after volunteering again over the March break. He said that the cleanup is going well, but everyone is depressed since its only a few short months until hurricane season again, and the leves still havent been rebuilt. Thats scary.

Thats just about all the news thats fit to print.
