Amber you say?

Lise was sick tonight, so another woman took the belly dancing class, and she didn't stop talking for a moment. She spoke only French, and after a while I just tuned out. But she gave us a good workout, which was needed, and we learned a routine where we used our veils (I’d forgotten mine, so I got to borrow a beautiful purple one). Patsy didn’t come, so I was on my own, an anglophone in a sea of non-comprehension.

My husband, I am pleased to say, has finally booked us a Caribbean vacation, secured on his credit card and everything, to the Amber Coast of the Dominican Republic. We leave February 25 and return two weeks later. How do you like them apples?
