Elgan speaks
...and her words thunder across the land

Stormy weather

I finished Harry P0tter. It was sad. I had to choke back a tear.

I finished the wind parts. Thats a relief. Now I get to transpose four French horns. At least theyre easier than clarinets, except that the clefs change.

It rained and thundered, and then it dried up and the sun came out and then it rained and thundered and dried up and rained again. It was an insane day weather-wise.

I took Buddy Boy out to Village Grec for supper, where we had souvlakis (his was chicken, mine vegetarian, no mushrooms) and now my breath is terrible. It started raining again while we were there, with more thunder and lightning. Very dramatic.

Then we went to the grocery store and bought (come on, guess!) groceries, then to the ATM at the bank and then home, where it started to rain again. On the way into the mudroom, Buddy Boy broke the door knob when he was pulling his key out of the lock. Oh well. It locks from the inside, with the push-turn action, but you cant unlock it now from the garage, so well have to remember just to use the dead-bolt on that door.

Hubby went to the Vimy walk-in clinic and came out with a prescription for antibiotic ear drops and instructions to ice the bursa in his hip. Now hes going to be a big baby for the next seven to ten days and I will have to administer the drops. Stuff and bother.

And that just about wraps it up.
