It seriously rained yesterday, an all-day, constant downpour kind of rain. Today as I drove into town to pick up some groceries, the large rock in the river was completely submerged and the two rivers joining made a massive torrent. The sky was iron gray with snow clouds looming in the west. Driving home I actually had flurries melting on my windshield. Trees are bare now, standing naked against the ones which either do not drop their leaves or have yet to do so. Wintertime nighs.
