Slow news day

It seems like just yesterday that there were mountains of snow everywhere. Today it was hot. Summertime hot. Wish you had air-conditioning hot. We don’t have air-conditioning. Sigh.

Buddy Boy accompanied me to the grocery store so we could replenish our larder which had grown painfully empty. We were reduced to putting a teaspoonful of milk in our tea after lunch because there wasn’t enough to go around. We took back the empty beer bottles from the various parties that have gone on around here lately and came away with milk and salad veggies and fruit. There were cherries and apricots, and we also bought apples and bananas.

Sadly, I really have very little to write about. I’ve been working away at the copying, making corrections, making further corrections after Hubby found more mistakes, and starting on the next movement. Rather dull. Maybe I’ll have something more interesting to report tomorrow.
