A particularly good use for a picturesque campus

It was an absolutely glorious day. I took pictures of the trees changing colour as I walked to the campus for T’shippers. They are especially beautiful in the cemetery and just outside the private school:

The campus was all gussied up with tents and pavilions. There were people selling food and crafts, there were information booths and stages for cloggers and Irish dancers, and other performing venues, including a big tent for the main entertainments.

There were also music department related performances in our own concert hall, some faculty, some students, and those were well attended and appreciated. Hubby’s jazz trio played:

and later on I also performed on the same stage with almost exactly the same musicians. Hubby was replaced by Grandpa Mike. We played a bunch of jazz standards and were very well received. One of the students who was working the lobby told me afterwards that people left our concert really happy. That was nice.
