Next time I will demure.

We did, however, get a very nice lunch out of the deal. We ate at a sushi restaurant and our waiter was extremely pleasant. When he smiled, he had two huge dimples beside his mouth and he smiled a lot. Miso soup for me, wonton soup for her, california maki for her, spicy tuna maki for me (it wasn’t spicy, not in the least) and green tea to finish off. Very pleasant indeed.
Then it was back into the cold and rain, wandering around old Montreal, looking for something leastwise interesting to do. We did find a gallery devoted to a couple of artists with gorgeous blown glass and quirky ceramics, but otherwise there was nothing. The area is either offices or restaurants.
We got back to Hubby’s meeting place 20 minutes early and fairly fell asleep waiting for them to finish. When they were finally done, we went across the street to a café for coffee and a brownie (shared three ways) before hitting the long and dusty (well, rained upon) trail home.
A little bit of consistent sunshine would be very welcome about now.
