Elgan speaks
...and her words thunder across the land

Fried brain cells with onions.

I have been separating trombones (and trumpets and horns and all manner of woodwinds) and when I mentioned this to a friend of mine, she said it sound liked brass band porn, which I suppose it is.

It’s not really. But it’s still tedious. I wish there were a way to push a button and the first and second trombones would find their way on to separate staves. Not going to happen. But that’s the last one I have to undo like that and the rest are on their own staff lines.

Today I suffered through my second pilates class. I have a pain in my left side that I noticed the other night when I was lying in bed. How did it get there? I have no idea. But it started hurting like the blazes when we were doing a certain exercise today, and the instructor made me modify it so it wouldn’t. Still. What the?

My brain is so fried, I have nothing to write about. My knitting comes on apace. I decided after unknitting several rows to correct an error that if I make any more, they’re staying. It’s just too difficult.

That’s it. Maybe in a few weeks I’ll have something worth reporting.
