In praise of older jazzmen

It seems as though I must live an incredibly cultured lifestyle, and to some extent it is true. Tonight we had a fabulous concert at the Music Department: Pat Labarbera, saxophonist extraordinaire, performed tonight with our own Mike Gauthier and imported drummer and bassist. My gawd they were good. Really good. They alternated between Pat�s own compositions and covers, and all were equally excellent. He has a beautiful sound, flawless technique, and Mike was in really fine form as well. Just a super concert.
